Chippendale invoiced Sir Rowland on 3 July 1769 for a 'very neat Pembroke Table of fine yellow & other woods with a very good Backgammon Table fitted as a drawer & good locks & Castors &c £7.10.-'. It is a relatively plain, but well crafted, table with none of the elaborate decorative marquetry work found on many of the pieces at Harewood.
Chippendale did not supply any games or card tables for Edwin Lascelles and indeed there are only three games tables and one card table known to have been supplied by him throughout his career.
