Filming and Location at Harewood

A first-class location for television and film production.

Harewood has long been a popular location choice for film and television production. Harewood has played host to a number of well known television programmes such as Heartbeat, A Touch of Frost, At Home with the Braithwaite’s, The Royal, Lost in Austen and Emmerdale.

Harewood is ideally located close to Leeds and Harrogate in Yorkshire.

Emmerdale

Since the 1990s Harewood Estate has been the main location for filming Emmerdale, the popular Yorkshire television series.

Emmerdale filming takes place in a purpose built outdoor set.
