Where to eat, drink and shop at Harewood

Food-Terrace-pouring-teaThere’s even more to enjoy at Harewood House, as you’ll discover when you taste the delights of The Courtyard Cafe or The Terrace Tearooms. Not only is the food sumptuous and the drinks refreshing, you’ll also be able to sit back and admire the grounds.

If you’re wondering where to eat when you visit Harewood, you’ll be delighted with the choices on offer.

    The Courtyard Cafe

The Courtyard Cafe offers a range of hot and cold dishes suitable for all our visitors.

Much of the ever changing menu is locally sourced and many dishes include ingredients grown within Harewood’s gardens. Children are well catered for and there is a wide range of vegetarian options. Perfect for a good morning coffee, a full lunch and afternoon tea.

You will find the Courtyard Cafe just below the Adventure Playground or follow the path down from Harewood’s formal terrace. (Open 10am to 5.30pm, to 8pm on Thursdays during the summer).

    The Terrace Tearooms

Accessed either through the Terrace Gallery or via Harewood House’s stunning south facing terrace, The Terrace Tearooms offer a range of light bites available throughout the day (10.30am to 5.30pm.)

Perfect for a good coffee to kickstart your day, a light lunch accompanied by a glass of something wonderfully chilled, or a superb afternoon tea served at your table, the Terrace Cafe Tearooms are a perfect venue for an elegant treat, yet a treat that won’t break the bank.

    Ice Cream kiosks

Located conveniently around the grounds, you’ll find a selection of kiosks which sell ice creams and hot and cold drinks.

Discounts are available for Harewood Cardholders.

Please note: Barbeques are not allowed on site but you are welcome to bring picnics – picnic tables are provided in the Grounds.

    Harewood Gifts & Souvenirs

For the perfect souvenir of your visit to Harewood, visit The Courtyard Shop for quality gifts, locally sourced produce and Harewood’s famous fudge, or for treats and gifts to entertain the child in everyone, visit The Toy Shop.

The House Desk, located inside the House itself, also sells a range of art books, guide books, postcards and Harewood souvenirs.
