The civil parish of Harewood is located on the northern boundary of the City of Leeds. The majority of residents live in the residential suburb of Wigton Moor at the edge of the conurbation. The parish also comprises the village of Harewood, known widely through its historic links with Harewood House, together with outlying farms and the hamlets of Wike and Weardley. The northern boundary of the parish is the River Wharfe.
